Persian 30 by Royal Canin is a breed specific food that focuses on particular areas that certain breeds need in their food, for example in this case they prevent hairballs which Persians with their long coats suffer from. Royal Canin is a dry cat food in the form of small little biscuits, Persian 30 contains lots of things that help Persians, it helps keep a nice coat and caters for the specific needs of Persians. My cats (which are Persians) personally love this food. If I give them a bowl of this food they will be totally full up and will spend the rest of the day asleep and behaving themselves. I have kept Persian cats for many many years. This breed specific cat food is a valued option for those Persian cats who like to eat dry cat food. However Persians have personalities and some will only eat wet food no matter how hard you try! I have a beautiful red Persian called Marigold who has a magnificent coat but she will only eat wet food. My other two Persians have a passion for dry biscuits and this product is on their menu every day. So why is it good? What a great idea - breed specific cat food! I certainly thought so when I first purchased this Persian 30 for my two, Persian (funnily enough) cats. It is supposed to enhance coats, meet their nutritional needs, and as Persians have delicate kidneys and are prone to UTIs, cater for this too. However, I didn't get far enough to find out. For although it comes in a good size bag, (will feed my two for about a week), Crumble and Custard just wouldn't touch it! They aren't that fussy generally I have to say, which is unusual for Persians, they'll happily eat Go Cat (I suspect the burgers and chips of the cat food world - delicious but maybe not so great ...
