Advantages: Affrordable, odour control, easy to clean

The search for the perfect litter is never ending, and I dont beleive there is one single type of litter that is better than all the rest. Each litter has its good points and its bad points, but I have to say after experimenting with a lot of different ones, this one seems to come off on top for a variety of reasons.

Firtsly, it is so easily available, and can be part of the weekly shop at Sainsbury's. Then the best part of it is the price...only £1.60 for an 8l bag. I find that lasts me at least a week, if I scoop it on a dialy basis.

The litter is natural clay based, and is clumping, which means it forms a solid base around all liquids, for easier removal. It is quie good in containing odours, and does not have a very strong odour of its self.

The negative points of this litter in my opinion is that it tends to be quite dusty, and can track quite a bit, but that is easily improved by giving them a covered litter tray, and a litter mat to step on asthey leave the tray. It is also quite heavy, and can cause your binman to be cursing you every week, as at least one of your garbage bags will be a bit heavier than normal.

My cats seem to like it, but a word of warning remaons, you have to clean it out regularly, otherwise it tends to become too clumpy, and the little monkeys will have to dig in concrete....

Summary: Not a perfect litter, but one of the better ones out there
