Advantages: Easy to use does keep coat looking nice

Disadvantages: No grip on handle

I picked one of these up at a recent dog show for my Bichon Frise. I went for the middle sized one that was avaliable to me and it is pretty much the same size as my other slicker brushes. They are all of equal quality and vary in price from around £4 to £10. This one was between £5 and £6.

It is a good brush and seems to be gentle on the dogs coat. My groomer told me to test them on my arm and that is obviously what it feels like for the dog so although the teeth are quite sharp to touch directly when brushed it doesnt cause any dis comfort.

The brush is easy to use and I have three because I do have them dotted around the house to make sure I brush my dog everyday as if I did not her coat would become matted overnight! The only thing I would change about my tender care slicker is for it to have ridges to grip onto as sometimes when just trying to wizz through the dogs coat it has got stuck and I have let go without meaning to. However as a slicker brush which was half the price of one of my other brushes that is the only difference, so it is well worth getting one of these.

Summary: Well worth the price tag a very good buy
