INTRODUCTION My cat has just turned fourteen years old making her ninety eight years old in cat years, so she is a bit of a grandma now and has become very fuzzy in her old age. Over the last few years she seems to have become a bit forget full and has now decided that she no longer likes to leave the house and now dislikes wet meat, although this is only on occasions as she will still lick her whiskers when the food pouches come out of the fridge. Anyway the forgetfulness has come as she seems to have forgotten that she has been fed and constantly meows for more, so I have tried many things such as feeding her smaller amounts more ... Tesco describe this product as 'Premium' and when I see 'Premium' I expect something a little extra, something special. Now, at first glance of the packaging alone I dont see anything particularly 'fancy' about this product, but I try not to judge on looks alone so I bypass the rather generic big, blue box with the obvious cat-approaches-food photograph and I pick one off the shelf. Its rather large and that may be a good thing in terms of product quantity for money, but its rather cumbersome and Im thinking I much prefer the cat biscuits that come in a bag which can be squashed down a bit in the carrier. This box can not and, once again, I'm ... Read the complete review

If you have more than one cat it is nice that they like the same thing. As mine all love premium cat crunchies from Tescos it makes life easier. Tesco preium cat crunchies is dry food biscuits for cats. You can get if for kittens, cats or senior cats. Mine like the black box with the maroon stripe saying it has duck, rabbit chicken and vegetables. The bites are about the size of your small finger nail. It is recommended though that you introduce your cat slowly to these. Firstly putting some in with their food and gradually increasing it till they can eat a bowl on its own. I must admit that I dont know ... Read the complete review

These Cat Crunchies are a stable in our household to keep our little piggy mogs appetite's at bay in between meals. They're not in a blue box but in a black box which I presume has been a change in recent times. The prices of the smaller boxes are a bit on the heavy side these days but they're good value for money if you get them in the 4kg packets. I bought some last week for just under £4 but the website is currently showing them as costing £4.46 for a 4kg packet. I've noticed this a lot with Tesco recently unfortunately, the prices change daily! I think if I'm paying up to £5 for a 4kg packet I'll be happy to keep buying these though. They're obviously ... As we are all trying to count the pennies I am afraid that even the credit crunch has started to have an impact on my poor old cat! Arthur is 17 this year (he is an old gentleman) and what he likes to eat really varies. In the winter I try to give him meat and in the summer - biscuits, simply because wet food spoils in the heat and he then turns his nose up at it. I have tried him on a variety of biscuits and was hoping that he would enjoy these. I started off gradually with them, by adding a few to the top of his meat. He is such a clever cat that he ate the meat and scopped off the biscuits. I also tried him just on the crunchies on their ... Read the complete review
