Advantages: Polly loves them

Disadvantages: not resealable

If Polly - that's the little black & white fur ball lying next to me on the couch and occupying far more space than I do - would write this review it would be something like " Give me more, now, I'm addicted, MOORREEE".

Well, luckily I'm writing this and Polly can indulge in her biggest hobby and sleep some more.
--------------------------

Packing

The treats come in a small, red plastic bag with the image of a cat and a small transparent 'window' so you can see the actual treats.

The pack is not resealable which makes it a bit more difficult to store but luckily the treats don't have an unpleasant smell. Still, they don't stay fresh for so long as others in a resealable pack would do.

All important information can be found on the back of the bag; including the ingredients list and the nutrition analysis. The treats consist to 30% of protein, 7% oil, 7% ash and 3% fibre. They also contain vitamin A, D3, E and Copper.
--------------------------

The Thomas Cat Treats come in 2 different flavours:

- chicken
- seafood

The treats don't smell strongly of any of the flavours, in fact I couldn't tell you what is what just by the smell. I hate it when you have a fishy smell all over the room just after opening a pack of cat food.
--------------------------

Look & Taste

The Chicken treats are reddish/brown and are around half a square inch wide. They are crunchy and I actually thought that they might be a bit too though for my cat. But it seems to be fine; just make sure that your cat always has access to water after eating the treats.

My first fear when I saw these brightly colored squares was that they would colour my carpet but they are ok. Well, there are always some small crumps and I wouldn't recommend you to but these on any white textiles or leather but it's not too bad and the crups don't stain..

Obviously I cannot really comment on the taste (and no, I'm not going to taste them just to write a good review :-) ) but seeing how addicted my cat is to them they seem to taste great.

We don't want her to get too fat and spoiled so one pack of 100g lasted for over two weeks. Every evening after playing she gets a few treats. It's not supposed to be real cat food, it's just a snack from time to time.
--------------------------

Price & Value

100g cat treats for 84 pence is so far the cheapest product I found. I wasn't sure about getting them as they just seem to be too cheap but Polly loves them. I guess what makes them so cheap is the low-key packing which is not resealable.

I normally get them from our local pet store but I'm sure you can also find them at a normal supermarket.

For me it is 7 out of 10!

If they quite are hard I better avoid them. My cat is a lovely 19yr old but has very few teeth! x
