I have a Weimeraner puppy who's breeder fed pretty much anything from the beginning. Weimeraners can have very sensetive stomachs, i had a 5 year old Bitch, Tara, who was a rescue dog. She was very highly strung and absolutely crazy, i remember the first day we got her.. My other half started playing fetch with her, her words were "She'll get bored of this before I do." With two hungry nosed dogs to feed I am always on the look out for convenient, cheap, nutritious and healthy dog food. Both of my dogs were rescued and consequently both, but one in particular, have big issues with food. Starvation does that to them. However the other aspect with rescue dogs is that they can have dodgy tummies. This can be through maltreatment, the aforesaid starvation or having experienced bad feeding habits. I try to stick to tried and tested dog foods on the whole but, just like people, they get bored and need a change occasionally. The story of how my dogs came to eat Wagg is a long and involved one, I’m afraid, that began about ten years ago as my pre-dog family (basically myself and my husband) set out one fine summer morning for a trip to Alton Towers. History of Wagg --------------- Its a company that initally started out as a animal feeding place. They started in 1923 in north yorkshire, however in 1990 they changed their name to wagg and stopped doing animal feed for farms and decided to concentrate on domestic animal food. Now i have 4 dogs and 3 cats and feeding time at 5 oclock was horrendous... all little paws in the kitchen trying to trip me up wasnt not my idea of fun.
