I got a puppy a few months ago and since he completed his inoculations we have been going to Puppy Training Class. It is a great place to get him socialised and he is learning some manners as well. The trainer works on the basis of 'reward' based training which suits Ellery just fine as he is pretty well motivated by food but it does mean that I have to find suitable treats to take along each week to keep his interest. He is quite a small puppy which means I have to find treats compatible with his size, firstly because I don't want him to get fat, and secondly because if they are too big he spends too long chewing them and isn't ready to move on the next ...
