Advantages: Cat loves them

Disadvantages: none

Having recently got a kitten I decided that I was in need of some treats for him to make him feel at home. Also as my 2 boys seem intent to pull his tail off I like to give him a treat when they have been poking at him to calm him down while I send the kids to their room for a time out.

Whilst perusing many shelves of cat treats I was drawn to these, as they seemed like quite a substantial treat being about 25cms in length. You get 8 individually foil wrapped thin sticks of kitten/cat treat which are in a pack with perforations dividing each one. To open them you tear off the top of the pack and slide out the stick. There is no strong smell to them, which is great, as I don't think I could handle them if they really smelt of fish!

They cost around 89p -£1 depending on where you buy them which I think is good value for 8 treats. The first one's I picked up in a pet shop and the last one's I got in a discount shop, I have also seen them for sale in the major supermarkets.

I bought some little packets of other cat treats at the same time, things like chocolate drops and the such and little Dude will leave these in his bowl in disgust, however I caught him chasing around a lone Webbox stick the other day trying his best to get into the foil packaging!

As soon as Dude see's me getting one of these out of the cupboard he is by my feet in a flash, which leads me to the conclusion that he must really like them! I'm not stupid enough to try one, not even for the sake of a review so I must leave it at the cats reaction!

They do come in a few different flavours and Dude is happy with any of them, in conclusion I will try not to be out of these in the future so he always has a treat when needed!

Summary: See if your cats like them too!
