Fussy Feeder (Webbox Cats Delight Sticks Salmon &Trout)
Member Name: Docbrother
Advantages: Apparently very appealing to cats, easy to feed Disadvantages: slightly tough for some cats to chew
I have a rescue cat called mansell, strangely enough although he was a stray he is a rather fussy eater, he will only eat one brand of food! However he absouloutly adores these Webbox treat sticks. Every night without fail he comes and finds one of my family out and sits staring at you and mewing untill you go and get him his treats. We feed him two per day as they have a lot of sugar in them and it is not good for his teeth. The only thing about this flavour of treat is that it is slightly harder to chew through than the other flavours and as Mansell has gingivitus, a gum disease, he cant always bite through them without hurting his teeth. He much prefers the softer chicken flavoured ones but he will eat the other flavours as well. The treats themselves are sticks about 15 cm long with small lines that you could cut along to segment it to feed it to your cat in a bowl but we just hold the whole treat and let him bite it as much as he wants at a time. We have found that if you do this, twisting the treat as the cat bites it seems to help them break through it. Summary: Brilliant food that actually got our fussy cat eating! |
