Advantages: Good value for money, easily obtainable, Cats love it.

Disadvantages: Sent my cats loopy

I can't say Im all that impressed with Whiskas at all to be honest! Yes it's good value for money and easily obtainable from any corner shop or supermarket but my personal experience of it compares to that of feeding a five year old nothing but skittles and smarties and watching them go!!! The brightly coloured kibble might look nice but I swear they must have dosed mine with some sort of amphetamine, lol!! It sends my cats loopy. Now I know all cats have 'mad half hours' but this was constant madness hehe. It only happened when we started feeding them Whiskas and they calmed down as soon as we changed their diet.

I have had cats in the past eat this and have no problems in all honesty but my two must be sensitive to the ingredients or something. They both have very soft fur and this food made their fur dull and greasy it also gave them both an awful odour which I just can't explain. They had bad tummys (and this was even after I had gradually integrated the food over a period of a week) and I was literally having to peel them off the ceiling.

I know that not everyone will have encountered this problem but I thought perhaps for anyone else who may have experienced something similar I would share my findings!

Summary: The equvalent of feeding skittles and smarties non stop to five year olds :o)

Hi I feed my cats this and I thinking about it they both seem to have 'mad' hours after they have eaten it. They chase each other around and up and down the stairs like they have bags of energy. Thanks to your review I might try changing the dry food and see what happens....
