My cats love Whiskas Complete,but it doesnt love them. (Whiskas Complete)

Advantages: Cats love it.

Disadvantages: constipation, sometimes severe.

Yes my cats love Whiskas dried food ,and have eaten it for a few years,but it has two major drawbacks .The first is it causes them to be constipated,because as you may know cats dont drink much ,and this hard baked food is very concentrated and doesnt have any fibre ,well maybe a miniscule amount.
One of my cats was near to having a completely stopped up bowel.
So as I cant afford these phenomenal vets fees I have had to use the knowledge I have of homeopathy to help him it cost me 148 pounds the last time I took him to the vet .So in case your cat has the same problem here is what I have used to relieve this problem:First of all give tiny meals for a few days give Arnica 30 twice daily ,with one dose of Lycopus 30 ...yes it does
like a puss ...no connection ,I dont even know why this one works but it does.
Dose these for a few days ,and in between give 2 doses of Lactolose syrup 2ml (obtain from your vet without your pet:)
Give a few whole oats in with cat food with some water sprinkled on ,give with favourite food.
I wont stop buying Whiskas altogether but shall use as a small treat,I wish they would produce some with roughage in .
The second thing is too much hard baked food is bad for kidneys.
Last thought dont forget to give water with lactalose syrup ,and indeed this dried food.
My regime worked after 3 days .If yuo want to know if your cat is constipated his tummy will feel hard.Keep him in as much as you can with tray,they are so secretive ,if His tum feels less hard you will know He is alright ,of course a straight diagnosis without treatment shouldnt be too expensive.
