I have got two cats, one that is 4 years old and another that is 3 years. i have found that every time i buy them different treats over the years (i've had both from small kittens) i find that they either snub it or one may like it but the other doesnt. my older cat, the mother of my other cat has a tendancy to like seafood treats, like freeze dried prawns-even though they dont agree with her, wheras my other cat likes more meaty textures. my husband picked these dentabits treats up not for their cleanng capabilities but out of sheer desperation to find somthing they both liked and didnt just get left on our floor uneaten, and also the fact that our older cat seems to ... I bought my cat (as a kitten) when I first moved into a flat on my own a few years ago. Having grown up with a cat I knew how to take care of one and what kind of a responsibility it was so even though I was relatively young I went ahead and got one. Of course it was instant love! Being that it was just the two of us living together I was very close to her and constantly wanted to buy her treats. As she preferred by belongings (and furniture) to cat toys the only way I found to treat her was with treats. I bought dentabits as I thought that with the amount of time she spent licking me (and of course for her own health!) I would prefer that she had ... Read the complete review

Whiskas have designed a tasty cat treat, which promotes healthy gums and teeth. It is called Dentabits. These cat treats if used on a regular basis will help reduce the harmful build-up of plaque and tartar on the cat?s teeth. It is like a tooth brush and tooth paste rolled-up into one. How does it work? The double ?H? shaped biscuits are made from a unique chewy texture, which once bitten into provides a ?dual wiping action that reduces plaque and tartar build-up on the surface of the teeth. Whiskas advises cat owners to use this product on cats over ten months old, as a complementary pet food. These brown cat treats have a strong smell that very few ... Read the complete review

As you may know we have recently been adopted by a lovely cat. He is about two years old and we have christened him Mew - well that's what he kept saying his name was anyway! My sister Helen visited at the weekend and fell in love with Mew so when she went to Asda she returned with a treat for him. The treat in question was a pack of Whiskas Dentabits which cost £1.03 for 50g. The first thing I noticed about these treats was the container. It is plastic (recycleable) and has a bright purple base and a clear lid. Under the clear lid is a peel off label with pictures of an angelic looking cat, a couple of cat teeth and a couple of the ... Read the complete review

Just before Christmas last year I had to pay £175.00 to have my cats teeth cleaned and some of them removed. Why? Well he had such serious dental decay that he could hardly eat every bite made him flinch with pain. He is quite elderly at 17 years, so it was either have him put down, operate on his gums or watch him die slowly from starvation. I felt I had no choice he deserves to be cared for. Anyway he survived the somewhat risky operation and has made a full recovery. The vet advised that a product to clean his teeth may prevent the need for a second visit. So I saw Whiskas dentabits on the supermarket shelf. They claim that the texture of the ... Read the complete review
