Advantages: Perfect sized sachets, everything your growing cat needs

Disadvantages: Not as environmentally friendly as it could be...

We have 2 new additions to our household, 2 adorable new kittens called Mork & Mindy! We decided straight away that they would be Whiskas kittens and at the moment use the dry food and the jelly sachets.

Whiskas are a well known brand that has been feeding kitties for years and their cat food range is excellent quality. They are not the cheapest nor the most expensive food on the market but fall somewhere in the middle. Our vet recommends Whiskas and I believe they are probably the most commonly used cat food out there.

12 Sachets of Whiskas will set you back around £3.30 and at the moment our kittens are 9 weeks old and we use around 2 sachets a day combined with the dry food. (All cats are different though and we expect ours to start eating more very soon!)

The food itself is small chunks of meat in delicious jelly, I say delicious because, although I haven't tried it myself, our 2 bundles of joy tend to lick all the jelly off before eating the meat!

The kitten food is served in small handy sized pouches that contains enough at the moment for a meal for both of our kittens. The foil pouches are probably not as environmentally friendly as they could be, but they are perfect for us as our 2 only eat very small amounts at meal times and I dislike the idea f having an open cat food can in the fridge.

The varieties on offer are cod, tuna, chicken or turkey and each meal contains everything your kitten needs to grow big and strong! Whiskas work very hard to ensure your kitten has just the right amounts of vitamins and minerals, protein and calcium for a healthy body.

We have had our 2 kittens for just 3 weeks now and they have lovely shiny coats, the vet says they are a perfect weight and their eyes are bright and their teeth good and strong. They have only been fed Whiskas kitten food since we got them and as they say, the proof is in the pudding!

I would definately recommend Whiskas kitten to any new cat owner, but would also say to give the kittens the dry food as well as this will ensure all his needs are met.

We fully intend to use normal Whiskas cat food when our 2 are older and our cats will be Whiskas cats for life!
