I first got my little boy cat Max in June, i've had before when i lived at home and they had always been fed Whiskers so i decided Max would be too.

Whiskers is what some people call a "premium brand", however i dont really think it is, a box of 12 pouches will cost you about £3.36 and they come in only one variety which contains 3 x Chicken, 3 x Tuna, 3 x Cod and 3 x Turkey. Yes, you could probably buy cheaper i.e. Supermarket Own Brand but i think Whiskers is well worth the price and good value for money!!

The meals are packed into individual foil pouches meaning the food stays fresh and the actual food consists of tiny meaty chunks (not too big for small mouths!) encased in a flavoured jelly.

The pouches hold just enough for one meal, therefore you dont need to have half used tins of cat food lying around smelling unpleasant! I feed Max one pouch twice a day (morning and night) and he also has dry food down all day (also Whiskers) and special kitten milk (guess what, its whiskers!) every other day when i get home from work.

Max is now nearly 9 months old and has grown into a healthy, strong young adult, his coat is shiny and his teeth and gums are perfect and i think this, in the most part, is all thanks to the complete vitamins and nutrients he has got from the Whiskers Kitten Food.

I would recommend this food to all new cat owners and i have already started mixing this food with the Whiskers adult food to get Max used to it.

Summary: A really Purrrrrrrrrrrrrfect cat food!!
