Whiskas Pouches

Description: Brand: Whiskas / Food Type: Cat Food

Newest Review: ... return to the Tesco one, simply because they seem to love it so much, (it is worth noting that Whiskas is a little more ... more

... expensive than some brands, but if you are like me, you don't mind that if it keeps them happy) but I would definitely get this again if I couldn't get their preferred brand. Because they are pouches, it is easy to squeeze them into their bowl and of course, it means that every serving is fresh, the amount that you feed depends on whether they are also eating dried food, and as always, allow a plentiful supply of fresh water too - result, happy cats!...more

Premium Review Whiskas Pouches - Your cat will love them! (350 words)

I came across these Whiskas Pouches quite a while ago now. My cat eats their dry food and I was looking for some wet food for her. I don't like the idea of a big tin of wet cat food that you only use a bit of and then have to keep in the fridge because I don't like it near my human food so when I saw these pouches I thought they were great. They are individual portions in a foil, sealed packet. They have indentations on the side so they are easy to open, you can just do them with your hands and there is no need to spoon out the food so they do not create a mess. I buy the Whiskas pouches in traditional gravy. There are meaty chunks covered in quite a thick, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Not All Cats Prefer Them! (197 words)

I got my cat around a year ago when he was around 6 months old. I was told by his previous owner that he only ate ASDA tiger cat food, but decided to try whiskas pouches when they were on special offer. My cat has quite a sensitive belly, many brands of food have given him the runs but he has tolerated these really well. Shadow loves all of the oh so fishy in jelly. I've found the oh so meaty in gravy to be less popular as well as messy to get out of the pouches. I'm less impressed with the market produce. I think my cat would prefer it if they left the green peas and carrots out of the mix. Cats are carnivores and I'm sure that the inclusion of these ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review Whiskas Pouches: Great if you're a cat. A bit pricey if you live with on ... (917 words)

I now have two cats, and after much taste testing of various types of cat food, they have eventually settled on their favourite… And my little girls don’t like tinned food (too tinny, obviously), and being fussy little madams they just sniff at the Kitekats and own brand pouches (although they don’t mind Waitrose’s). Their favourite breakfast/dinner is Whiskas pouches, hence posting here. Basically, what you get is a single-meal-sized pouch weighing in at 100g, filled with little bite-sized bits of meat, and jelly or gravy to keep it moist. My ladies tend to lap up all the jelly/gravy first but unlike some other brands I’ve ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A decent feline food (422 words)

Whiskas Pouches Description: Brand: Whiskas / Food Type: Cat Food I suspect that even non cat owners will recognise this brand, it has been around for what seems like forever. These pouches be bought on their own or in packs of 12 or 24 (which works out to be more economical) and retail for around £0.40 per pouch or £3.25 for a pack of 12. I haven't bought the 24 packs so am unsure of the cost of these. This cat food also comes in different flavours, there are meats or fish in jelly, meats or fish in gravy and some with vegetables too. This means there is a wide choice to give your cat, and let's face it, we wouldn't want to eat the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Whiskas Pouches: Passes my snobby cat's taste test (432 words)

My cat is a fussy, spoiled little thing but I adore him nonetheless and therefore try to cater to his every whim! He is a rescue cat from the local shelter and is 13 years old. I got him a year ago and funnily enough when he first arrived in my home he refused to touch any wet food, preferring dry food only. But then after a couple of weeks I tried again with wet food and he now insists on at least one serving of it a day. As all cat owners know, wet food is more expensive than dry food. I have tried my cat on many kinds of different wet foods including Gourmet Perle, Sheba, Felix, and Whiskas. Of these, the only two he will eat are Sheba and Whiskas. ...  Read the complete review
