Whiskas pouches can be bought on their own or in packs of 12 or 24. I would imagine most cats would need three or four pouches if that's all they get to eat. There are various varieties - fish, meat, ones with vegetables in and with sauce, gravy or jelly. They also do senior cat ranges or kitten ones.

They are not that cheap - usually about £3.40, though the 'oh so' range is even more expensive - but they are often on offer in the supermarkets. The good thing about them is the variety, there are usually four flavours in every pack, which my cat likes. He seems to get bored with the same old thing.

There's also no need to have the tins in the fridge so these are easy to get rid of. However, some varieties absolutely STINK. I'm sure they smell great to feline noses, but good God, they stink the house out!

The cat seems to like them, although he is rather fussy. Like most brands, they don't actually have much meat or fish in them. They are mostly moisture, though this can be good as the cat hardly ever drinks water.

I do supplement Whiskas with dry food and with supermarket own brands but the cat seems to prefer Whiskas (for some reason he hates Felix). However, the cat, ultimately prefers human food!

As humans we can't really judge this food, but the cat's happy!
