Okay, cats tastes are different to ours, less sophisticated maybe. Being the softie that I am, I like to give my three cats a special Sunday treat. Humans have a special Sunday Roast, so why not give the cat a special meal as well?

I sometimes share a chicken with my cats but I also give them a pouch each. The tins are good (if they weren't, they wouldn't eat them) and although they have the same flavours printed on them, the cats seem to prefer the Whiskers pouches to the tins. The texture seems different, seems to be more jelly (is that the secret?) and the chunks are a great deal smaller.

There are around half a dozen pouches in the range and all go down well. Fellowcat owners who buy these pouches will know that the contents of these pouches is only one quarter of that of a tin (100g versus 385 - 400g) and the price of a pouch can be anything between 20p - 30p. Cans cost around 35 - 40p. Packaging is also likely to be considerable less. I don't mind spending money on my three lovely cats but the manufacteurs are coining it in - pure greed.
