Whiskas Pouches Description: Brand: Whiskas / Food Type: Cat Food I suspect that even non cat owners will recognise this brand, it has been around for what seems like forever. These pouches be bought on their own or in packs of 12 or 24 (which works out to be more economical) and retail for around £0.40 per pouch or £3.25 ... Read the complete review

My cat is a fussy, spoiled little thing but I adore him nonetheless and therefore try to cater to his every whim! He is a rescue cat from the local shelter and is 13 years old. I got him a year ago and funnily enough when he first arrived in my home he refused to touch any wet food, preferring dry food only. But then after a couple of weeks I ... Read the complete review

Whiskas pouches can be bought on their own or in packs of 12 or 24. I would imagine most cats would need three or four pouches if that's all they get to eat. There are various varieties - fish, meat, ones with vegetables in and with sauce, gravy or jelly. They also do senior cat ranges or kitten ones. They are not that cheap - usually ... Both my cats absolutely love Whiskas pouches. I get woken up at 5am by the hungry little beggars and they don't rest until they get their Whiskas. I've tried giving them competitor brands but they actually turned their noses up at them (fastidious whatnots!) so I've been forced to go back to Whiskas. Clean bowls every single time! The ... Anybody that's read any of my other reviews will know I like convenience, and that's precisely why I like Whiskas pouches for the cats, as it saves dishing up with a fork, my hubby to be complaning about cat food in the fridge, etc. The pouches are easy to dish up, you just tear off the top and squeeze the food out from the bottom, which is ... Thank goodness for Whiskas Pouches! Once we get summer on the way (whenever that is !) ,I don't know about you, but I seem to be forever throwing away half tins of cat food because they don't smell to good.It would make sense to store it in the fridge, but I don't think my family would be to pleased. When I first saw Whiskas ... Read the complete review

I came across these Whiskas Pouches quite a while ago now. My cat eats their dry food and I was looking for some wet food for her. I don't like the idea of a big tin of wet cat food that you only use a bit of and then have to keep in the fridge because I don't like it near my human food so when I saw these pouches I thought they were great. My cats love whickas in pouches but it is very expensive. £3.50+ in the Uk but interestingly, only $3.59 in the USA for 12. So do we believe it is really that much cheaper to make there?
Also, when you have more than one cat the puches are a bit of a pain - I prefer the large tins. Surely better for the environment too to have just 3 cans to dispose of instead of twelve pouches and a cardboard box!

I got my cat around a year ago when he was around 6 months old. I was told by his previous owner that he only ate ASDA tiger cat food, but decided to try whiskas pouches when they were on special offer. My cat has quite a sensitive belly, many brands of food have given him the runs but he has tolerated these really well. Shadow loves all of ... Read the complete review

My current cat is called Guinness and he is a beast of a cat. Everyone who sees him comments on how big he is, but when you are with him everyday you just don't see it until he is sitting next to another cat outside. Anyway, when he was a kitten we always fed him tins of Whiskas and he was quite happy with this. One day I received a ... Read the complete review

I have two cats - Jules and Cleo. Jules is basically a greedy git and will eat everything that's put in front of him (and has even been known to sneakily take a mouthful or two of Cleo's food when she's not looking). Cleo, on the other hand, is a fussy little madam and has an extremely discerning palate. I had always bought ... Read the complete review

I've never owned a cat before and had no intentions of doing so, untill one day my daughter shouted out to me while I was upstairs that there was two kittens in the back garden. Looking out of the window I saw the most funniest little scraggly kittens you could ever imagine. There was a little black one and a funny mottled black and ... Read the complete review

My cat likes to eat a lot of food, he isn't fat but he always eats if he knows he is getting food. I do not like to give him a full meal all of the time so sometimes I will give him these since they are smaller like an inbetween meal. The puches are in many flavours and are usually in jelly. They are fairly big and carry 100g of ... Read the complete review

I now have two cats, and after much taste testing of various types of cat food, they have eventually settled on their favourite… And my little girls don’t like tinned food (too tinny, obviously), and being fussy little madams they just sniff at the Kitekats and own brand pouches (although they don’t mind Waitrose’s). Buying cat food seems to be my constant nightmare as to what to get, its quality, how long it will last, will he eat it etc etc! My cat was rescued from being drowned as a kitten by some scum bags that thought it was quite a funny thing to do. Ever since i got him he was on Whiskas kitten food and then progressed to the cat food in tins. I ... Read the complete review

Tiny my beloved Black and White Tomcat loved his food and weighed in at a mere 6.5kg! (Well he was 8.4kg when he first came to live with us). Bacon was his favourite food, but when it came to Whiskas Pouch Sachets, Ham and Turkey was his out and out choice over the rest of the varieties. Picture this. The cats are giving you the royal wave at the back kitchen door. (The ‘royal wave’, as we call it, is paw outstretched against the glass on the door, arse stretched out, furry belly showing). This is the signal that my cats want to come in. Jasmine came to me just over a year ago from the Cats Protection League, I was told that she didn’t like ‘dark meat’ so I have always fed her chicken, fish, and turkey. I was also told that she wouldn’t eat food from a tin or a pouch – didn’t know what THAT was all about, and she certainly woofs it down when I ... Read the complete review

Okay, cats tastes are different to ours, less sophisticated maybe. Being the softie that I am, I like to give my three cats a special Sunday treat. Humans have a special Sunday Roast, so why not give the cat a special meal as well? I sometimes share a chicken with my cats but I also give them a pouch each. The tins are good (if they ...
