When we were adopted by our handsome cat, Mew, we decided that he should have some toys to play with. It was with this in mind that we went to Pets at Home to see what was on offer there. We came back with a couple of little balls - hubby said that they would be good as Mew hadn't got any of his own! Actually even though they had bells inside them Mew wasn't interested. We got a little sack of cat nip which Mew completely ignored! The real success was the Feather Chaser Wand (yes I know it sounds like some sort of sex toy but trust me on this one!). You may be guessing by now that our cats have a lot of toys (in fact they have a huge box in the kitchen and it keeps spilling over.) This, however, was one of their favourites. I'm not sure if it's universal that cats like feathers. I DO know that they send our two wild (Holly's favourite toy for some time was in fact a feather duster.) Toys with feathers therefore usually do well with them. This particular wand has catnip in. Now, not all cats are affected by catnip - apparently whether they are or not is a genetic thing. You'll know if they are because when they get hold of catnip they'll get all silly and giddy for half an hour before returning ... Read the complete review
