My little rescued mongrel bitch Tasha, is one fussy little madam, when she is one of her moods. For the most part she'll eat anything, but like any lady she has these little moods whereby no-one or nothing will do except that which SHE specifies. In Tasha's case this specification boils down to only two items, one of which is not suitable as a main meal the other of which is ASDA Hero. ASDA hero retails at around the 43p per 400g tub which has a nice picture of a dog on the front and the particular flavouring details and colour of packaging for each specific recipe. Tasha favours the Turkey and Rice version which when opened looks no different to other dog ...

Since adopting our Siberian Husky, Casey, 3 years ago, he was very starved and underweight when we first brought him home, and so ate anything that we fed him as if he was just glad of a bowlful of food, but as time went on he was starting to go off his food more. We had him checked out, but nothing seemed to be wrong with him health wise, so just put it down to being a fussy eater. I love my dogs. I try and make sure they have the best things I can afford so they are in the absolute best condition they can be. Naturally, reading this makes you wonder why I would choose a wet food by 'Hero' - Asda's own brand. The honest answer is I wouldn't given the choice but I took in a rescue case that had been eating Asda Hero tins and it would almost certainly upset her tum to swap suddenly to my normal JWB. So I go to Asda and purchase the offending items. The tins are 32p each or £1.88 for a multipack of 6 asorted flavours.
