The staff are knowledgeable about the dogs they have in the home, and will try their best to match you up with a suitable dog. They are also very truthful about any faults the dog may have, which is good.

I got my dog from Battersea Dogs Home 6 years ago now. She is a wonderful dog. The rehoming process at Battersea is a good one. Firstly you have to have an interview to see if you are suitable to have one of their dogs. The interview is thourough but the interviewers are friendly. You also have to take ID with your address on it. If you find a dog you like you will have to have a homecheck, either before or after you take the dog, to check that your home is suitable for the dog to live in.
