Advantages: Lovely cats

Disadvantages: Can be high maintenance

Well i came to have my two boys (Dylan & Monty) in June/July of last year.

I actually only went to see a breeder with my sister as she was looking into breeding Bengals and I fell in love with a week old Monty. He is a brown spotted and was very very sweet. I decided I needed him as I hadnt had a cat since i moved out of home and my cat I had had for 17 years passed away.

A few months passed and at the end of June Monty came to live with me. I didnt really know a lot about the Bengal breed, and by God I wish I had read up a bit more about them. Monty (as with most Bengals) do not like being on their own. And within 2 weeks I had decided to get him a friend, Dylan. Dylan is a silver marble and an absolute sweetie.

Well thats how I came about having them, but a year and 3 months on and I cant imagine my life without them.

They are VERY energetic. They love playing, and Dylan's favourite game is fetch. They are also very intelligent and get bored very easily if left on their own too long. And Dylan is very vocal, and sounds like a very loud stud cat at times, which im sure is a joy to my neighbours at 4am when he decides he wants a cuddle.

But most of all they are very loving cats.

If you are looking to get a Bengal I would suggest reading up as much as you can about them and their temperment. If you are looking for a very laid back cat, then I dont think a Bengal is for you (although they have their relax time, its far outweighed by their cheeky time!). Also, try and visit a few breeders and get a feel of the cats in the fur, but be warned, they can win you over with just a look and a purr!

Summary: Perfect for those of you who want a long term commitment!

Haha... Dylan is a bit like a Tiger if that helps? He circles me and tries to bring me down like I am his prey! lol
