Disadvantages: When it's wet and windy and they want a walk

Boxers are by far the greatest dogs known to man. They have there own personality that no other dog has and just have to be there at your feet every day. Don't know what I would do if I didn't have boxers as they really become part of your life. Although they have loads of energy they can also be very lazy and I've known mine to stay in bed from 9:00pm to 12 the next day only getting up once to go on a quick walk. Though once there up there raring to go and will want to run and run. Boxers can pick up lots of illnesses very easily and mine in fact has somehow managed to create a new illness (goes bald on his back every winter)which nobody has been able to find the problem with though it doesn't bother Taggart (thats the boxer). Boxers are great family dogs and although they will jump at people and animals they don't know once they get to know them they just want to be hugged and stroked.
