Cats are a great pet, I prefere them much more to dogs because they are alot more independant and dont need the constant care and attention that dogs need.

I have one cat, hes a little tom cat called Tinker and is black with a little white patch on his neck and hes such a loyal and cute little cat. Ive had him for 4 years now and hes just like one of the family now.

Cats are great as they keep the mice and pests away from your house, they have great hunting skills and this is part of their instint, as kittens they build these skills through playing and if you own a cat it is best to keep them stimulated and trained by giving them toy mice and other toys to play with.

Cats are quite clean and keep themselves groomed well, my cat seems to be very concious about his looks and is constantly grooming himself. I like to keep his fur nice by brushing him from time to time, and he loves it.

Cats are very intelligent animals and are really noisey and interested in what is going on around them and their surroundings, especially when they are younger.

You need to feed your cat every day, depending on their size and activeness around a tin a day, I feed my cat 1/2 a tin in the morning and half at night, and you also have to make sure that they have plenty of water or milk.

Another thing you must look out for with cats is worms, like alot of hunting animals cats have the tendancy to pick up worms on their travels, you can prevent this (or do your best to) by taking them to the vet every 3 months to get wormed, or any time that you notice that they have worms.

Overall I think that cats are great companions and are really easy to keep and love.
