Baby Bob our Feline Friend (Cats in General)

My little cat is called Bob. He became Bob when we rescued him because my young son could not say any really complicated words at the time, being only 4 years old. Its a bit odd, really, he has come to look like his name now, our Bob. I wonder if you can imagine what a "Bob" looks like? I have a piccy of him, but not too sure how to upload it.....any help would be gratefully received, then I can share his "Bob-ness" with you!!

He is ginger, and has the most gorgeous triangular shaped face. He is sweet, quiet and gentle. EXCEPT when there are birds around...then I am sorry, but he turns into an absolute demon. I can never quite appreciate that contradiction in terms, angel indoors, devil in the garden.....many a poor feathered friend has falled prey to his talons, and I have not been fast enough to rescue them. I will try harder. Mostly, we try to keep him in when the birds are young, but it is difficult as the weather gets warmer he wants to bask in the sunshine and catch birds. He also catches mice sometimes too and even managed a bat once!

He is about 9 years old, and has the most wonderful little barrel belly. When he squeezes through our wrought iron garden gate, he leaves what we fondly term "Bob's beard" behind him...i.e. a little fringe of ginger hair on either side of the bars.....it never goes away, even in wet weather, and is part of his heritage. He is a Bob of the family seat, so to speak.....and he is so fond of family seats that he has three of them....one of them in the centre of our three seater couch, one on the back of an armchair and an extra-special warm one in another armchair....we have a three piece suite and three of the five seats are his....so you can imagine how often we sit on the floor! He has specially crocheted blankets in each bed - specially crocheted by me! I love bright colours and he is so happy when he purrs and cuddles up in them - one at a time, of course, but only when he is not sitting on my husband's knee instead.

He likes tuna in brine and slices of chicken from the deli, but otherwise lives on Felix As Good As It Looks. I never think it looks good, of course, but then I am not feline. Not feline well as I fork it out onto a plate at 7am, I can tell you!

I love him to bits and would not be without him. He is our baby Bob.
