The Ideal Lap Dog ? (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel)
Member Name: Gazzer7419
Advantages: Very friendly and loveable dog Disadvantages: Some can suffer from eye and respiratory problems The Cavalier King Charles spaniel has a fantastic and gentle temprement and would fit into any families life. Equally these dogs would be ideal company for any person who lives on there own as they seem to prefer company and would rather not be left on their own. Although they are a small dog in stature they do enjoy exercise and playing with all the usual dog type toys and games. They also like luxury, they would much rather lay on your lap or on the furniture than on the floor. They are also experts at tugging on your heart strings whether it be for an extra cuddle or an edible treat and most cavaliers end up being spoilt, so be a little careful with their weight. There are three main colours blenium,(white with tan patches) ruby (all tan) and tri coloured white, black & tan) I would recomend buying a Cavalier from a reputable breeder and therfore you will minimise the chance of any inherited health problems. Summary: All in all a great companion and life long loyal friend. |
