Advantages: Great temperment, relaxing attitude and fantastic company

Disadvantages: Can be a little overpowering and attention seeking!

Reading all the other reviews, i can't believe how similar king charles cavaliers are! I have a king charles named Gizmo aka Gizzy (7yrs) Gizzy is an extremely affectionate dog who adores being the centre of attention. She will do anything to lay on my lap and always curls up under the duvet for a snooze. Gizzy loves walking altho it doesn't take long for her to tire! Her eating is very poor and she is extremely fussy about what she eats. She will NOT eat dogfood of ANY kind and believe me i have tried!! She will only eat "human" food such as chicken, Cooked mince, sausages etc... but her all time fave is Spaghetti bolognese and has been since she was 8/9wks old :-)
I would 100% reccommend King charles cavaliers to anyone who is searching for a pet but please be aware that these dogs are certainly in no way a "street" dog. They love heat/indoors and don't like being in the cold. Gizzy won't even go outdoors for a piddle if its raining!!!! An all round great companion who's temperment is fantastic. She really thinks she's human and not a dog... :-)

Summary: best of breeds in my opinion!
