Advantages: Great family pet, great with young children

Disadvantages: Can be pricey, but there worth it!

Ive had my Caverlier King Charles Spaniel called Buzzbee a year now and absolutly adore him, hes well natured dog and just wants love and attention! Hes brown and white and just the cutest little thing!
Cavaliers are very playful gentle dogs. They are great with children although if you are going to have a cavalier with children a male would be best as they are more forgiving if they accidentally get hurt when playing with your children.

Cavaliers are just as happy to be sat inside next to you as they are to be outside! Having said that they do love a good run around a park and they do need the fresh air.

My dog sometimes gets 3 walks a day, or if not everyday he likes to play in the garden with the children, with his dog toys!

Their coat should be long, silky and straight and groomed nearly everyday!

Eyes-Large dark round but not prominent spaced well apart

Ears-Long set high, with plenty of feather

Nostrils-Black and well developed without flesh marks

Lips-Well Developed but not pendulous

Mouth-Jaws strong with a perfect regular and complete scissors bite.

Neck-Moderate in length and slighty arched

Chest-Moderate shoulders well laid back

Front Legs-Sraight moderately boned

Head and skull-The skull is almost flat between the ears. The stop is shallow. Length from the base of stop to tip of nose about 3.8cms (1.5 ins). Face well filled below eyes. And tendency to snipiness is undesirable.

Tail-Length in balance with body, well set on, carried happily but never much above the level of back.

Colours- Black and tan, ruby, Blenheim, Tricolour

Feet- Compact, cushioned and well feathered!

cavierlers are beautifal dogs and are loyal dogs, i would recommend one their a fantastic pet!
