When I was younger I had various ponies (yes I was fortunate) as my cousin and aunt both have horses so I was put on a pony from a very early age (3). My most memorable pony would have to of been Jake and 5 year old dales pony I had when I was 11. He was my first proper pony to start competing on and he was bought cheaply from a field! Jake turned out to be every parents wonder pony for their child. He was safe, trustworthy and a fabulous friend! Jake was just as inexperienced as I was at 11, even though I'd been riding from the age of 3, it wasn't until now I was in "competition" training.
