We bought a doberman in 2000, her name was Zara and she was the most beautiful puppy ever.

She became like a child in the family and was adored by everyone, when I was pregnant she was very protective of me and wouldn't leave my side.

When my little girl was born she became very protective of her and although when we ever took her for a walk she would pull the arms off us, when my three year old took her she would wlk as nice as anything and walk right at her side.

Yesterday Zara had to be put down because she was so ill, and to all the family it has hit us hard. She will be sadly missed but i just wanted people to know how loving and loyal these dogs are.

Zara was like another child in the family and her death has hit us all like any death of a human family would hit us.

But please remember if doberman are brought up in a loveing, caring environment they make wonderful pets and very loving.
