the Doberman Pinscher is a breed of dog that fits into the "working" category. It originated in Germany where it was developed by a German tax collector who wanted an intimidating looking dog to take around with him when he was collecting his tax! they come in the following colours: black or brown and tan, blue, fawn & rarely ...

The most gentle, loyal and affectionate dogs ever bred. they are true protectors and brilliant learners, hence easy to train.
their reputation as nasty, vicious killers could not be any further from the truth.
they love other humans, children and other dogs. However quite attention seeking they like to know they are a valued member of the family, in return they will respect and treasure each member of the family.
they really are beautiful dogs, they don't need huge amounts of exersise but they do enjoy regular walks.

We bought a doberman in 2000, her name was Zara and she was the most beautiful puppy ever. She became like a child in the family and was adored by everyone, when I was pregnant she was very protective of me and wouldn't leave my side. When my little girl was born she became very protective of her and although when we ever ...

As a dog trainer i have trainer many dogs but none have been as remarkable as my own dobermann. This breed of dog has suffered due to its past history as a guard dog, many people still asume that dobemanns are vicious and unpredictable. Dobermanns are very sensitive dogs and bond strongly to their family, they are incredibly easy ...

When my husband first suggested getting a Doberman a couple of years ago my first reaction was no way, they are devil dogs!! Yes, I?d seen all the movies where the Doberman was portrayed as a killing machine with teeth so to say I was weary was an understatement. The biggest dog I had been used to was a Shih-tzu that my mum and dad owned so to go ...

We decided we wanted a pedigree Dobermann, so we phoned around a number of different breeders. You will find a lot of breeders ask you the questions, which is a good thing that they arent willing to let their pups go to just anyone who comes along with the cash. We went to visit the pups and see the environment they had been raised in so ...

My one and only love of dogs has to be the Dobe. This very misunderstood and distrusted breed, in my opinion, makes one of the best family pets around. I rehomed two Dobe pups from a local dog rescue centre at 6 weeks old. I read up on them and thought I knew what it was all about. Boy, was I in for a suprise! They will chew anything, eat ...

Well what can I say about Dobermans?...firstly before you buy one know yourself.....ensure that you really love dogs and you will take the time and effort needed to train these dogs....as I tell you they are very intelligent, possibly more intelligent than their owners in some cases. They need a good amount of excersise and shouldn't be cooped up ...
