Border Collie ... COLLIES A Border collie is a type of dog, which very often rounds up sheep for farmers. They are extremely intelligent and are the most faithful dog I have ever come across. They have a fairly quiet nature, when resting, but are transformed into a tireless ball of energy when outside. They have a beautiful wavy haired coat and have a very soft and friendly face, usually brown eyes. You can buy from breeders around the country, which you can find on the web. The cost varies, £800 - 1,000, but well worth the money for the pleasure and fun you get from them! Cesar ... week of looking after my parents dog Poppy is drawing to a close. I absolutely love her, she is such a loving dog and very loyal. Because I am going to be staying back at home and not see her every night after work I ve decided to spoil her for the last 2 days of looking after her. Just to quickly explain - Poppy is a very fussy dog. She doesn t eat dog food much and will go for a couple of days without touching anything. I don t know what causes her to do this but no matter how much you try to get her to eat, she refuses. Mum and Dad have tried everything to get her to eat. Nylabone Galileo Bone ... ~What are they~ Durable hard wearing bones for the heavy chewer, supposedly for dogs, who crunch, munch and lunch on everything else and destroy it. ~Is it any good~ Well I can only speak from personal experience, I bought one for my Staff, I had previously tried other hard Nylabones and my Staffy had loved them for about half an hour, then she destroyed them and ate them up in large chunks. I worried for a while they she may be unable to digest huge chunks of Nylabone, especially since they warn they are not to be consumed.
