Boxer ... love of dogs* I am a dog lover, big dogs, little dogs, any shape, size or age. I not one of these people that only love puppy s, I believe a dog is not just for xmas, its for life . As a youngster we had our first dog during my early years at school. It was a beautiful mongrel named Prince . Unfortunately for us my mum and dad worked full time and struggled to juggle things around to make sure that our loyal friend had someone at home with him most of the day. There was not problem with us loving him it was just we finding it difficult to give him the attention he deserved. Poodle ... is by far the best breed of dog we have had to date. We have a Toy Poodle, which my brother named Scampy, he is an Apricot coloured male with a fantastic personality. Size In all the books it says toys should only grow to 11inch but ours has grown a little beyond that so he does look a bit gangly. My nan has his sister, named Bonnie, and she is a third of the size. So, if you want a really small poodle a girl is your best bet. Temperament Scampy has been very easy to train with basic comands, he sits, lies down, gives his paw etc almost instantly (especially if he knows there is a treat at the end of the act) but he does have his moments where he acts like he can t... Staffordshire Bull Terrier ... Bull Terrier s have a bit of a reputation of being vicious and violent, the type of dogs that thugs take on their travels with them to protect them during dodgey dealings. If that s the kind of thing you want sure you could train them to be like it but they are actually really good family pets if handled by the right people. They re not hard to control and despite what people think, aren t born vicious or violent at all. Beyond that reputation is a loveable caring family pet, although like any other dog, they do have the potential to turn at any time.
