Jack Russell:
... The Jack Russell Terrier. I was always wary of small dogs as a young child. I was brought up with large Labradors and the though of a little dog scared me! But in September 2008 after my mum passed away my partner said we would get a dog to help with the grieving process! So I searched the internet and the only dog I could find was a Jack Russell! Meeting the Puppies I went along to the breeders house... Read the full review: Strong willed, loyal dog by sweetheart85 |

Cocker Spaniels ... have had Oscar, my cocker spaniel, since he was a puppy. I struggled to choose him from his brothers and sisters as they were all so gorgeous but he seemed to be the most mischevious one and kept approaching us every time we went to visit ( he was too small to take home when we first chose him so we visited a few times before we could take him). I got oscar last september so he has just turned one and he is still as mischeivous as he was before but he is a really good dog. Cocker spaniels are loving, cute and clever. However, make sure that they know who the boss is straight away as they can become cheeky. At first, Oscar used to bite everything but he gradually stop... Border Collie ... have three collies. A bitch, Beth, who is six years old and two puppies from here litter she had back in October 2007. A dog, Jake, and a bitch, Tess. This breed is not for anyone who is not energetic and is not willing to give up some time each day to giving them the attention they need. Not necessarily walking for miles but give them the mental stimulation they need. The best method we found to fulfil this is training. We got Beth at twelve weeks old and a week later got a golden Labrador, so Beth was pack leader from the start. In training Beth wasn t up for being put in her place. Same applied to Tess. Being dominated wasn t enjoyed one bit. But after the i... Read the full review: a fantastic breed by emms_apples |

German Shepherd ... s are classed as a large breed. They originated in Germany (if the name didnt give that away) in the late 1800 s making them failry new as far as breeding goes. They belong to the working dog group as they were originally bred for herding sheep. They are often favoured as Police dogs due to their strength, agility and high level of intelligence. They are extremely loyal and obediant makign them one of the most popular breeds registered. My love of this breed started well...before I was even born really as my parents had a great big black and Tan GSD called Prince. Then I came along. Prince was an ex police dog and very very territorial and protetive. Unfortunately... Read the full review: Truly Mans best friend by Bearstorm |
