Not many people have heard of the Eurasier. Originally bred in Germany in the 1960's it was a cross bewteen a chowchow and Wolfspitz. Its aim was to create a dog with the best qualities of both these breeds. 12 years later, the Samoyed was introduced into the breed and this is dog we have today complete with the chow chow's blue tounge! Its temperament was the main reason for this dog being bred, and as such they make excelent family pets. They are extremely loyal and are a very caring and loving breed. Most Eurasiers are 'watchful and alert without being noisy' (FCI Standard), which makes them good watchdogs - but NOT good guard dogs. They will ... Read the complete review
