Now to my dislikes of this tank, The filter on this tank is rubbish and needs cleaning as well as a water change at least once a week, It is sold as a complete aquarium with tropical fish food, hinting at keeping tropical fish in it but because it was designed for the american market it doesnt contain a heater and if you do put your own heater in you run the ri...more

Right i will start with the positives, This tank is available in 3 sizes, 1 galon, 2 galon and 4 galons, i would recomend the 4 galon tank as more space is better. They come in various sizes, I think I have the middle one, and are all made of plastic as opposed to glass. As I said they are great for beginners. However fish experts will no doubt prefer to have a much larger aquarium. Indeed one cannot really call the Hexafun tank an "aquarium". It is much too small. My Hexafun tank contains 8 mountain cloud minnows (coldwater). Hexafun boasts that it can be used for tropical fish. However one would have to get a really small heater ...
