In fact, The Miniature Pinscher has been around for many centuries. They originated in Germany, but have also been bred in the Scandinavian countries for a long time. The Pinscher-Schnauzer Klub, gave the breed its initial standard. The breed continued to become more popular until World War I and then picked up again after 1919 when they began to appear in the United States.
