I have to agree with Sparkle. I recently gave away my two rabbits (to a good home I might add) because of all the same reasons. They were both male and got on well, they were brothers and had stayed with their mother until they were about 15 weeks. They were handled quite often during that time, all the things you are supposed to do with a rabbit, but they were not the lovable pets we had expected. They disliked being handled (one more than the other), we gave them run of the whole garden but they were extremely difficult to catch, and they had to be cleaned evryday or their hutch would smell. I was aware of the cleaning and care that would be involved but I suppose I expected some of the affection you might get from a dog, for example. But there wasn't any. They have now gone to a little girl whose rabbit died recently. Hopefully she'll be more patient!
