Our dog Shane is a 4 year old Weimaraner. When you buy a dog in a breed like this, if you didn't know all about the breed already, you soon will do because they are so distinctive. So many Weimaraners are so similar - of the many we have met they often share the same characteristics. First and foremost, Weimaraners are great looking dogs and this is what normally first attracts people to the breed - it was certainly the case for us. They are "grey" in colour (although in reality this is a light brown/grey shade) and have a really majestic look about them. To be honest she gave us real grilling asking loads of questions, before she told us that she thought us suitable to ... Read the complete review

We have owned our first dog and weim for almost 2 years and love him to bits. We did our research enormously for months to ensure he was the right dog for us but he is fantastic fun and a great addition to the family. Milo is a purebred dog with an amzing temperament, he is as soft as a brush, great with our 2 children and never barks at other dogs. He is gentla and will let the kids play with him for hours, he will let them do anything to him and we wouldnt be without him On the negative side, yes he is a big dog and needs a lot of exercise, he is very sociable and will follow you from room to room, he doesn't like being on his own as he ...
