Kata DR-465 Digital Rucksack ... d wanted a bigger bag, a step-up from the previous bag I had which was a lowepro, which had the bare capacity to carry one camera body and a small lens. My 18-55mm lens with its body struggled to fit, I d worry that if I pushed it in too hard, the lens would snap. Thankfully it never happened. It was awkward to use it so I was more willingly to pay for this bag. Most of the camera backpacks that I researched had spaces entirely for the camera body, lenses, filters, batteries and other accessories for camera. I brought my 1st DSLR and was after a decent bag for it, after a lot of looking around at different makes and types I went for this one. I didn t want it to be too big that it would be a pain to carry round but of a good size to fit my Nikon D40 with a reasonable sized lens. It certainly does this as there is plenty of room, it has a removable Velcro divide inside so you can separate it into 2 sections, also inside there are 2 small pockets for an extra battery or memory card. Lowepro Vertex 200 AW ... purchased one of these about two weeks ago for just over £100. Intended to be a bag that I carry all of my photo gear in, on those longer journeys or on holiday. Yes, that amount of money is a lot to spend, but if you have expensive camera gear it really needs good protection. So, the Vertex 200AW has a lot going for it. It can carry two SLR cameras, plus lots of lenses. It has a main compartment that takes all of your main kit. It is divided up by padded pieces that attach is the place you choose with velcro.
