Advantages: easy to use, very light, strong material.
Disadvantages: not very protective, no neck strap, belt loop not too useful, can only get it in one colour.
The hama Arezzo Style 30G is a camera case for small digital cameras. My sister bought it for me a long time ago to protect my Samsung L110 camera (which I no longer use).
You can however also use the hama case with other brands such as casio or canon basically any brand as long as the camera is small. The hama case is very small it's only bout 9cm in height and almost 6cm in width.
Only can you store a digital camera in the case there is also an inner slot in the hama case were you can put your memory cards (up to two). The inner pocket is kind of tight therefore I never worry bout my memory card getting lost.
---Price and Place--
I don't think this case still exist nowadays. My sister bought the case for me in my local market place for £8 she probably thought it was a bargain for the reason that those days camera case prices used to sting. I think £8 for this case is too much as the case is of low quality.
I'm sure nowadays you'd probably buy the case for a lower price than noted.
---Me and the Product---
When I got the case I used to use it quiet a lot though the usage has declined nowadays as I don't use my digital camera no more. However my experience with the product has been ok. The case is very easy to use and the loop fastener makes it even easier. The case has protected my digital camera from scratches very well, and I owe it one.
The case does have a belt loop on its back which I only tried out once as it's not my style of carrying a digital camera and I think the belt loop is mainly aimed at man or those who wear small belts. However, I noted that the tighter your belt is the tighter the hama case gets in holding your camera.
The case is very light and doesnt add noticeable weight to your camera.
The case is very disappointing as it does not have a neck strap; therefore I always had to hold the camera in my hands or slip it into my handbag if I had one.
When I insert my camera into the case there was always holes left on the top of the case, suggesting that if I was to go to a beach all the sand would have a lovely conversation with my camera.
Moreover if I was to drop the case in water with my camera in it, it was going to be the end of my camera. It is a good thing that these things never happened to the camera, but it shows how unsafe the case is when it comes to such accidents and activities.
Overall me and product don't get along, it just a waste of time.
---Recommendation--
This hama Arezzo Style 30G is so last year, therefore I would recommend it at all. The case is not as protective as other cases nowadays; it wouldn't give you a full peace of mind. You could lose your camera easily whilst using the case as it does not have a neck strap. The belt loop is a waste of time (who would wear a belt on the beach?) it doesn't really work for everyone. I would say the case is possibly aimed for those who use their cameras when sightseeing.
You could buy this case if you want something simple and cheap to store your small digital camera in. But seriously I wouldn't buy it, wouldn't even spend a £1 on the case.
I had never heard of Hama as a manufacture or brand but now i know them and see them as a low quality brand who need to add more time when designing some of their products.
---Note---
---The hama case is not water proof, therefore don't drop it in water whilst your camera is in there.
---The hama case is made of PU material though it does look like leather. The material is strong and looks like it could be a long time till it rips.
---The hama case is black in colour and that's the only colour the case is available in.
---If you want to know more about hama products and the company just google the brand name and off you go.
Summary: a case for small digtal cameras, with an inner pocket to store memory cards.
