How many of your gadgets and devices contain or use a memory card?
Have you actually counted?
I have - and it's a lot.
No one wants to misplace or loose a memory card, granted some such as the card in your mobile phone may very seldom see light, but the cards you use in your digital camera, mp4 player or even digital picture frame, can often be switched around or placed in your memory card reader. Or you may not use some that often and want a safe place to store them.
The solution to this problem comes in the form of Hama Digital Memory Organizer, a simple object that can sit on your desk. It can store all physical sizes of memory cards in it's ten compartments from XD to Compact Flash. It also has a central compartment which is the ideal size for a Flash drive or two,
Build quality of the organizer is good (if not a bit light-weight). It's dust-proof, has rubber feet and a hinged plastic lid that is easy and quick to open. At the moment i'm using the left size for memory cards that are empty and the right size for those that are full, but you can use the compartments for any system that suits your needs.
There's not much to fault but it's not perfect. It's a bit pricier that I feel it should be (£12.99 at time of buying and publishing) does seem a bit on the high size. Smaller memory cards get a bit lost in the compartments even with a plastic case, and results in you having to fish it out with your fingers.
However generally I happy with the organizer, it gives me somewhere to keep all my cards. Somewhere I know where they are and that they are safe, and for that I'm thankful. Hopefully gone and the days where my memory card gets sucked up the hoover.
