      Introduction
      ##########

This is the most simplest and standard shutter release cable you can get. I picked this one up from a car boot sale for 50p when I was first getting into photography and didn't have enough money to get the high end shutter release cables / remotes.

      Who is it for?
      ############

These shutter release cables are designed for people who want to do long exposures. If you are involved in nighttime photography, then you would know how useful these are. Those of you who don't know - Nighttime photography requires that you keep the shutters open for a long duration to expose the film to more light. When you set your camera to a slow shutter speed, you find that when you click the shutter release on the camera - the camera wobbles slightly - this makes your picture blurry. These shutter releases are useful here because you don't touch the camera.

      The Cable
      #########

The cable itself has a screw end on one end and a release on the other. The screw end screws into the hole in the middle of your shutter release button on your camera. One that is screwed in, your ready to shoot. You simply press the pushbutton on the end and the shutter will be released - when you want the shutters to close again - there is a small ring just under the pushbutton; you simply press this down and your shutters will close.

      Conclusion
      #########

You can't go wrong with this. It's the most simple design you will get and it does what its supposed to. If you want a no frills shutter release cable; get this one!
