      Very helpful

So much cheaper than a replacement screen. An obvious choice

If you have ever spent £500+ on a shiny new digital camera, you will know how it feels to take it out for the first time. Even though you want to treat it like your old one, throw it in a bag, sling it over your shoulder and forget about it you always treat a new thing like its fragile.

Even on modern cameras the LCD display is fragile an can easily be cracked with a sharp enough blow from an accidental drop. Even if not a crack, a deep scratch can be a huge problem when trying to review pictures mid shoot.

In short, buy yourself a screen protector BEFORE you need one.

This BM-4 clips directly to your nikon with a secure (if slightly fiddly) push fit. Starting at the top you must line up the two tabs then press the lower part over the screen. The shield is strong and can take quite a hit.

On the down side the shield is made of relatively thick plastic and tends to give the LCD a blurred or out of focus look over time. Because of this i tend to remove the shield only when i have arrived at a shoot and everything is safe.

My advice? Get one before you regret it.
