Cobra Flashgun 700AF. (Cobra 700AF)

Advantages: Cheap, ease of use, Disadvantages: Lack of manual controls. I have been using this gun for about seven years now. I first used it on my minolta 600 si film camera and the results where quite consistant, not the best but a very good budget gun,it does not have any manual settings but can work quite well in most situtions,I have had to improvise a little bit , by softening the flash a bit the trick that used was to cut up a plastic milk carton to the shape of flash head then I added the flash guns wide angle diffuser to the flash head which comes with the flash gun. I have used it in many sittuations, fill in flash, night time flash, day light flash. I will add that any one using this flash gun, will need to experiment a bit with minimal settings that are on the flash gun.Iam now starting to experiment with it on my konika minolta dynax 5 so far so good , no problems so far. Use rechargable batteries I hope this has been helpful. Summary: Overall a good budget flash gun.
