The range of standard capabilities of the 44 AF-4 series includes manual use, selectable partial light output level, plus a number of interesting special functions such as fill-in flash in daylight to brighten up shadows that are too dense. For more personal, creative control it is possible to change over to manual mode and set a partial light output level when the need arises. Furthermore, the model also features second curtain synchronization, which is important for natural looking slow sync effects.
