Nikon SB 600:
... have owned a Nikon Speedlight SB 600 flashgun for a few years and use it regularly. It never fails no matter what light condition it is. The i-TTL mode works perfectly with both my Nikon D70 and D700 and it can always get the right light and exposure. The remote control and the little stand which comes with the flashgun is very useful for creative lighting and the automatic light/exposure control works equally we... Nikon SB 800 ... recently this was Nikons top of the range flash. And it still does the buisness. Whether it s lighting up a room, or just filling in a scene this flash will do the trick. Stick it on the camera and it will do it s job without any fuss at all. But if you want to get creative and take control of the flash you can use the manual settings. The instruction manual is comprehensive, and is very useful if you want to get the most out of this flash. Once you have learnt the basics it is a great flash. Comprehensive tilt and swivel so that you can easily bounce the light off surfaces. I have taken photos at a couple of weddings, and I would have been in rather a bit of trou... Nikon SB 800 ... in or pop up flash because the harsh light from these flashes just does not give a pleasant result at all. If a photographer has his or her way they would always want to shoot in day light preferably at dawn or dusk but as that is not possible we spend fortunes on studio lighting but if we are not in the studio and we can t rely on day light then we opt for flash units for our DSLR`s like the Nikon SB 800, whilst this is nowhere near the top end of the range of flash units it is a very good unit and does a terrific job in most circumstances. This type of flash unit works in a few ways, it can either be fitted to the top of your DSLR camera by what is known as the hot... Nikon SB 28 ... Nikon gun does everything most users could ever want from a flash gun, and even more things that most users will ever need. So why buy one? Well, its great if you enjoy reading instruction books rather than novels, or if your Visa account needs topping up, or if you want to impress your pals at the camera club. But if you want to take pictures using flash now and again, then I would suggest you look elsewhere. Try seeking out a Vivitar 283 instead. Although nearly as old as I am, the 283 has more than enough power (more than the Nikon), four accurate auto settings, is very simple to operate, and is almost indestructible ? witness its use by the press for the p...
