All in all this is a great investment!

I personally purchased this digital piano for my home recording studio. My intentions were to actually write and record songs through a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). There are only a handful of presets and tones to choose from so I have actually found myself utilizing this Hemingway more for writing music more than anything.

I really appreciate the high quality hammer action keys. There is just enough weight and action to the keys to help give it that "professional" feel that I was looking for without having to spend a large amount of money. The music sheet holder really comes in handy when I want to jot down ideas for a song that I am writing. I would suggest that the speakers could hold a little more power. I teach my children how to play piano on this Hemingway and have noticed that once I have played it at more than 80% volume for a long period of time the speakers start to crack or distort slightly.

I really have to brag on the re-verb and chorus effects. They really compliment a lot of the preset and sounds without causing them to sound too much like your typical "factory" effects.

The overall weight of the digital piano is extremely heavy which comes in handy when you have 2 kids running around the house. All in all I would recommend this for anyone that is interested utilizing this digital piano for home studios, small churches or gatherings and for teaching purposes.

Very beautiful instrument. The keyboard action is strange......heavy start-easy ending....but i like it very much. The voices are as good as a middle 90's Yamaha or Roland digital piano, so not the best but useable and good for the price. I like the upright piano with some reverb and more treble. Very nice functions: 2 phones, 3 pedals, layer volume, 2 track recorder, midi in/out, line in/out.
