I am a pretty blue flower that makes your spring day bright with my beautiful little blue flowers ( My proper name is Myosotis)
I am easy to grow and cheap to buy my seeds. My seeds are packaged by most seed companies and can be found in garden centres and supermarkets everywhere.
I am a biennial this means I need two growing seasons before I flower this means that after sowing I produce leaves then I rest over the winter gaining energy to flower the following year
The best time to sow me is in the mid summer you can sow me where you want me to flower by preparing a seedbed. You can either sow me broadcast or by making a drill and sowing me in a straight line. Cover me in my bed with a little soil, and you will see my leaves poking through the soil and becoming small plants. In the autumn you can carefully very gently lift me and transplant me to where you would like to see my flower. I flower between April and July. I look very pretty in a tub or edging a path if you have a row of spring bulbs I look very pretty underneath them instead of boring bare soil
I am not very tall growing to about 4-6 inches in hieght
My flowers although usually blue are sometimes a pink colour very occasionally white.
If you let my flowers die I will produce lots and lots of little black seeds I will drop my seeds and they will grow into little plants my children will grow around me, but I will die sadly not to see my children grow and flower, or you could collect the seeds and sow them somewhere else.

I wrote this after gardening this morning and seeing forgetme not seeds growing??Mary it is a lovely sunny day when I have posted this I shall get back in the garden do some weeding thanks for reading.
