Greater stitchwort April as I walk along the hedgerows or the rides /paths in the woods I shall be greeted by little white star like flowers scattered along the edges under the bushes and trees. I also have a few of these flowers brightening up a damp corner under the bushes in my wildlife garden. What's the difference between a weed and a wildflower? Deciding to tackle this review has made me wonder about this one and a quick search online hasn't really enlightened me. I did come across the phrase - "A weed is just a plant in the wrong place", which rings true to me, and the growing popularity of wildlife gardens in the UK would seem to back this up. I have seen Stitchwort referred to both as one of the UK's precious wildflowers and also as a common weed. Either way it does produce a lovely delicate looking flower.
